چکیده

Non-oxidative coupling of methane is a promising route to obtain ethylene directly from natural gas. We synthesized siliceous [Fe]zeolites with MFI and CHA topologies found that they display high selectivity (>90 % for >99 CHA) ethane among gas-phase products. Deactivated can be regenerated by burning coke in air. In situ X-ray absorption spectroscopy demonstrates the isolated Fe3+ centers zeolite framework fresh catalysts are reduced during reaction active sites, including Fe2+ species Fe (oxy)carbides dispersed pores. Photoelectron photoion coincidence results show methyl radicals intermediates formed upon activation. Ethane radical coupling, followed its dehydrogenation ethylene. Based on observation allene, vinylacetylene, 1,3-butadiene, 2-butyne, cyclopentadiene over [Fe]MFI, network proposed leading polyaromatic species. Such not observed small-pore [Fe]CHA, where only

Mechanistic Aspects and Reaction Pathways for Oxidative Coupling of Methane on Mn/Na2WO4/SiO2 Catalysts

ors that form stronger bonds with H-atoms react with lower sensitivity to the strength of the C-H bond being activated. We have previously shown that reactions with energetic H-abstractors, such as OH radicals, react less selectively with the weaker C-H bonds in HCHO (relative to stronger C-H bonds in CH4) than more stable radicals, such as O and HO2. OH radicals are among the most thermodynami...

Ion-Exchanged Binuclear Clusters As Active Sites of Selective Oxidation over Zeolites

A new catalytic oxidation cycle over binuclear Znand Ca-cation clusters in zeolites is proposed. Intermediate active clusters appear due to trapping of dioxygen. CO oxidation is considered as a model reaction over a cluster located in an 8-membered (8R) ring. Geometries of active clusters involved in the catalytic cycle vary depending on the nature and size of the cation. Reagents, transition s...

Modeling of Oxidative Coupling of Methane over Mn/Na2WO4/SiO2 Catalyst Using Artificial Neural Network

In this article, the effect of operating conditions, such as temperature, Gas Hourly Space Velocity (GHSV), CH4/O2 ratio and diluents gas (mol% N2) on ethylene production by Oxidative Coupling of Methane (OCM) in a fixed bed reactor at atmospheric pressure was studied over Mn/Na2WO4/SiO2 ca...

Oxidative Coupling of Methane to Ethylene Over Sodium Promoted Manganese Oxide

Manganese oxide catalyst promoted with sodium and supported on silica exhibits fairly good activity and selectivity towards the synthesis of ethylene from methane at the optimum operating conditions. Methane and oxygen were fed into a tubular fixed bed reactor packed with catalyst under atmospheric pressure. The effects of temperature, residence time and feed composition on conversion, selectiv...

AWract-A reaction-transport model that combines gas-phase reactions mcurting within interstitial and intrapellet voids with surface reactions occurring on catalytic sites was used to descritm the oxidative coupling or methane in packed-bed reactors, a typical example or bimodal (h~ogeneous-heterogeneous) reactjon systcma. A kinetic model for gas-phase reactions was a-bled from available literat...
